Since 23 December 2025, every CKG flight lands at Terminal 3, not T2 — details below. Here's each way into the city, with sourced fares and the signs to follow.
Everything moved to T3 — T2 is no longer used for arrivals
You land at T3A, where the metro, taxi rank, ride-hailing pickup and airport bus all are; T3B gates connect to it by a free automated people mover.

Fare & cautions
Line 10 from T3 to 曾家岩 is ¥6 (Line 10 only, official fare table). After you change to Line 2 for 解放碑, there is no official single through-fare — do not treat ¥6 as the price all the way to 解放碑.
Line 10's first train toward 兰花路 (downtown) departs 江北机场T3航站楼站 at 06:30; the last toward 兰花路 runs at 23:23 — confirm the exact minute on the platform display before planning a tight connection.
Pay with an Alipay/WeChat transit QR code, a mainland transit card, or cash at the ticket machine.
Budget about an hour on Line 10 from T3 into the city. A January 2026 travel guide is the published figure; the operator gives no official T3 → 解放碑 time, so leave slack if you have a tight appointment.

Fare & cautions
Metered — there is no official flat fare from the airport to 解放碑. By day (06:00–23:00) the official flagfall is ¥10 for the first 3 km, then ¥2/km; after 25 km it is ¥3/km (Chongqing Transport Commission).
At night (23:00–06:00) the official flagfall is ¥11 for the first 3 km, then ¥2.3/km; after 25 km it is ¥3.45/km.
Travel time depends on traffic — no official airport-to-解放碑 duration is published.
Chongqing's stacked flyovers and looping ramps mean the meter can run higher than the straight-line distance suggests — an indirect-looking route on the map is normal here, not a sign you're being overcharged.
Chongqing's official meter schedule covers the full day, with a night tariff from 23:00 to 06:00 — night trips are priced for. What the airport does not publish is the rank's own opening hours: travelers reported catching a taxi at T3 at around 01:00–02:00 on Chinese social media in August 2026, with nothing first-hand either way after 03:00.

Fare & cautions
Chongqing sets ride-hailing fares by the market — there is no official static airport price, and no official day/night table.
Pay the live quote in the app before you confirm; in-app payment, with the driver and plate shown after you land.
If you land late, open the app first and keep the official taxi rank as backup. Chongqing does not publish ride-hailing hours for T3: travelers reported getting a car at T3 at around 01:00–02:00 on Chinese social media in August 2026, and also reported requests that went unfilled in the same window, with nothing first-hand either way after 03:00.
Check the live estimate in the app before you confirm. A January 2026 travel guide puts T3 to the city centre at about 40 minutes; no official duration is published.

Fare & cautions
Neither the fare nor the timetable has been republished since K01 moved its origin to Terminal 3 on 1 January 2026. The ¥15 fare and 08:30 start time still shown on the airport website describe the older routing via T2 — treat them as out of date.
Check the price with the driver or the ticket desk, and the departure board at the stop, on the day.
Ask the driver or the ticket desk at the stop. A September 2025 write-up on a Chinese web portal says tickets are also sold through the WeChat official account 大美重庆 and the mini-program 拼周末; the operator's own page lists only a phone number, so confirm those names on the day.

How we verify airport routes
We prefer airport, metro, rail, and government operator pages for route, ticketing, terminal, and schedule claims.
If an exact fare, pickup bay, or last-train time is not confirmed on an operator page, we tell travelers to check it instead of publishing a number.
Last-updated dates mark when source links and page claims were reviewed.
